UTM Test Page

UTMs (Urchin Tracking Modules) are code/value pairs passed along with a specific web page to help with analytics. They appear after a question mark (?), have an equal sign (=) between the code and value and are separated by an ampersand (&) if there is more than one pair.

For example, for a campaign in 2022 for fentanyl awareness that had a QR code, the URL that would be used to create the QR code would be:

https://preventoverdoseri.org/fentanyl?yr=2022&src=qr

Examples for a given year:

  • https://preventoverdoseri.org/fentanyl/?yr=2022

Examples for a given campaign (Fentanyl, Naloxone):
(In this case landing on the home page).

  • https://preventoverdoseri.org/?cmp=nlx

Examples for a given source (banner, QR code):

  • https://preventoverdoseri.org/fentanyl/?src=qr
