ABOUT:
The Imani Program is offering welcoming recovery sessions designed for connection, growth, and healing. This program may be a good fit for you if you are: age 18 and older; have used alcohol and/or opioids in the past; interested in reducing substance use; or have a family member in recovery. ABOUT:
A Church Created BY the Recovery Community FOR the Recovery Community – Recovery Church gathers every Saturday night at 6 p.m. and opens services with praise and worship, community announcements and surrender crosses. A speaker is welcomed, followed by a time of open share, where attendees have a chance to share what is on their hearts. Service closes with prayer and worship. On the last Saturday of the month, there is anniversary night, where there is time to celebrate lengths of recovery. Refreshments and fellowship take place after service.

A Brown University research study, in collaboration with The Miriam Hospital, is recruiting participants to take a survey on substance use treatment access in Rhode Island. Compensation will be provided.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Have either tried to access treatment or received treatment for your drug use at any point in the past 10 years
- Are ≥ 18 years old Identify as a person of color
- Can complete a survey in English or Spanish

Shri Yoga – Yoga in Recovery Class

The Community Health Network’s “Own Your Health’s Chronic Pain Self-Management Program” is a free, six-week program that teaches individuals new skills and techniques on how to better manage pain. This program is led by two peers and is currently offered through Zoom. Program participants will learn how to:

Eat healthier
Be more physically active
Improve communications with Healthcare Professionals
